Current’s April 22 issue reported that Southern California Edison was increasing proposed spending on earthquake studies related to its San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station from $4.4 million to $64 million after Japan’s Fukushima nuclear disaster. Before the Japanese quake, Edison already planned to spend $31 million on new earthquake studies. The total amount remains $64 million, as reported.
