Freeman Goes Hydrogen

Before the governor-elect had a chance to carry out his promise to ax the California Power Authority, David Freeman, the agency?s board chair, announced his departure. In an October 23 resignation letter, Freeman said he was going to join a small business venture that builds hydrogen-fueled vehicles. Freeman, former head of the Los Angeles Department of Water & Power and the Sacramento Municipal Utility District, joins the private sector after four decades in the public energy sector. CPA board member Sunne McPeak will stand in as the acting chair.
