Pacific Gas & Electric asked the California Public Utilities Commission to reject independent generators’ call to toss out its application for expedited approval of the Tesla power plant project it wants to build and own. “The commission should not dismiss PG&E’s application at the infant stage, but instead give the Western Power Trading Forum and other parties the opportunity to raise factual and legal issues during the normal course of the proceeding,” PG&E stated in a September 4 filing to the commission.
